The Basics of Intellectual Property

Durango, CO – The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center announces a new workshop entitled, The Basics of Intellectual Property.

The program will cover the Definition, acquisition, and protection of Intellectual Property–patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights.  This important information is useful to new entrepreneurs with potential ideas and brands, inventors as well as managers and employees contributing ideas to their respective businesses.

The program will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm at the First National Bank of Durango, Community Room.

Kristina Fox of Fox Law Group LLC will facilitate the program.  Kristina specializes in start-up business planning and Intellectual Property law.  She collaborates with clients to maximize productivity, reduce risk, increase brand value and provide intellectual property protection.

Kristina earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 1999 and is licensed in Colorado, Washington and Utah. She provides a full range of Intellectual Property Services.
