QuickBooks for Nonprofits- Intermediate Level

Durango, CO – Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and First National Bank of Durango are sponsoring a half day workshop, QuickBooks for Nonprofits- Intermediate Level.  in the Community Room at First National Bank.

The workshop offered on Thursday, April 27 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Community Room at First National Bank.

This workshop, taught by CPA, Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor, and Fort Lewis College Accounting Professor, Laura E. Hokanson, covers advanced accounting needs specific to Nonprofits.

QuickBooks, the most popular small business accounting software on the market, is an invaluable tool for any organization.   Topics include how to: · Handle donors and pledges, including giving them customized contribution receipts · Manage restricted funds · Track and report revenue and expenses by grant or program · Track expenses for reimbursement grants and bill them right out of QuickBooks · Allocate overhead across programs and grants · Make reporting to donors, grantors, the government, and other parties faster and simpler · Make reporting functional expenses for the 990 faster and simpler · Create effective budget-to-actual reports by total annual budget and by grant or programs · Create and customize forms and reports for nonprofit use

This presentation filled with practical, useful information is only $55.  Laura Hokanson utilizes over two decades of public accounting teaching experience to deliver presentations filled with practical information.
